Meet Michelle
Michelle Morath is the owner and founder of JourneyFit, a wellness clinic based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She holds a Doctorate in Naprapathic Medicine and is certified in Advanced Allergy Therapeutics, as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and as a Personal Trainer. She focuses on reducing her patients’ physical pain, limited range of motion as well as the effects of injuries using gentle manipulation of the connective tissues, movement and proper nutrition.
My Naprapathic studies began in 2015.
Having graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree emphasis in Exercise Science and Business, in 2015 I returned to school. After 3 years of dedicated studies, I received my doctorate in Naprapathic Medicine through the Southwest University of Naprapathic Medicine. By 2019 I had incorporated an Advanced Allergy Therapeutics certification into my craft.
Why did I start JourneyFit?
My core mission is and has always been to bring relief to people living with physical pain (chronic or acute) and/or limited range of motion, as well as mature adults who are conscientious about their physical well-being. I bring a focused approach that includes helping people manage their pain using gentle manipulation of the connective tissues, movement, and proper nutrition.
I am a strong believer that with proper care, appropriate exercise, and attention to nutrition, ANYONE can improve their quality of life and live rejuvenated in body, mind, and spirit.
